Dr. Bashir is an Assistant Professor of Pathology and has demonstrated keen interest in Hematopathology. She has spent her post graduate time developing the practice of Hematopathology with her colleagues in Srinagar. This is an innovative path for Government Medical College. Bringing to full service the modern equipment purchased after the floods, this is an innovative path for Government Medical College. The exposure of Dr. Bashir in her subspecialty especially Flow Cytometry and Cytogenetics will help move this division ahead and pave way for other members to join the team from GMC, Srinagar. During his visit, Dr. Bashir attended the Health Care Delivery Course offered by the Harvard Business School - Buffalo Group to study the flow and function of health care delivery.
