Dr. Tak is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Government Medical College, Srinagar and serves as a pediatrician and a neonatologist for the only dedicated Children’s hospital in Srinagar, Kashmir, GBPANT Hospital. Dr. Tak experienced protocols and complex care of congenital and sick children in the Neonatology Unit at the Children’s Hospital at Buffalo.  Dr. Tak and Dar both visited the Children’s Hospital and observed complex pathways and state of the art care of sick newborns and children. Through this experience, they developed a passion for integrating simple steps into the care back in Kashmir.
